Banned from the WoW forums

Well I got banned on the forums... never gotten a warning or anything. 1st time I get reported its a permanent ban....

So I was wondering if anyone can give me some tips on how to unban it.
A letter? phonecall? email? what should I say?

give a shit on it or buy a vanilla acc for 5€ and use this forum acc.

People who get banned from the official forums permanently were honestly asking for it.
Blizzard doesn't hand out permanent forum bans for minor offenses.

Also we can't help you get unbanned if you don't tell us WHY you got banned. For all we know you could have spammed every single thread in existence with Viagra and Gold selling websites. Then obviously no one can get you unbanned. But if it was for something minor we might be able to help.

I got banned for asking people, yes on the general forums, whether or not they stopped the microwave 1 second before its over, just to avoid the beeps. stupid yes. worthy of a PERMANENT ban? eh

Eh, I have sorta two responses to that.

1) Yes it is a bit harsh for a permanent ban, I would have expected a thread deletion and a warning to be honest.

2) At the end of the day, it is against the rules and considered spam. You posted it after accepting their ToS/EULA/forum rules and deep down you knew it was a stupid thread and that you shouldn't have done that.
It's sort of like breaking the law by killing someone and breaking the law by slashing someone's car tyre, at the end of the day they are both against the law and you know you shouldn't have done either.


It could be that you were just the wrong troll at the wrong time with the wrong grumpy-my-coffee-machine-broke grumpy forum moderator. Try appeal with some of the suggestions mentioned above else perhaps wait it out. Maybe it isn't a permanent ban after all. If it is try appeal again in a week or two's time.
