What does Blizz ban for botting?

I've heard many different things, so what I am wondering is if people who have been banned for botting can tell me what Blizz all banned for botting. I am on a lan network and numerous people have accounts on it, and I don't want to ban all of those accounts for my actions.

They wouldn't ban anything but the account you were botting on.


Blizzard knows you'll come back after your account is gone, which equals more $$ for them.

If you have been selling gold , then chances are that Blizz will also take action (light action) on the accounts which have accepted the Gold (only in large amounts) .

I'm talking just using the bot to level up a character fast, I'm a busy person and don't have the time to level my guy but would like to see the end game content. If I'm only using a bot to level up my guy, would Blizz only ban the account if im caught? Also can anyone prove what Blizz bans with a link or something?
