Looking for a guide to getting Epic gear and Heirloom gear.

Been playing Wow for a while, got a few lvl 80 characters now, tired of questing over and over. I've been doing some BG stuff, but I was wondering about a few things.

What's the fastest/easiest way to get top epic gear?
What's the fastest/easiest way to get heirloom gear for my alts to level?

I've got lvl 80 paly, mage and rogue. Which would be the best for any of these?

farm badges and uh farm badges.- mage or the paladin(tank set). 5 man heroics ftw.

ok, so bg has nothing to do with it? Just run 5 man heroics? do 10-25 man heroics count? Also, is that for the epic armor and the heirloom stuff? I'm also assuming the badges you're referring to are badges of justice?
