Updating my old wow version, help with

I've got wow 2.0.0.608 really old

I'd like to somehow bypass downloading 7gigs of updates etc since then,
what version do the latest normal wow store-bought versions come with?

e.g.
if I buy vanilla wow, Burning crusade, etc from the stores, how many updates (and which ones?) will I need to download with my slow broadband.

Store ones come with patch 3.0.1 i think which includes TBC and wotlk in it so you only need to download ~1gb of patches This one disk comes with vanilla wow.

So simply buying the vanilla wow disc from the stores contains all the patches up to 3.0.1 yes?

(and quickly, does anyone know how to appropriately 'tag' threads? I've tried finding out but can't access the page here that has the info)
