Does Warden/WoW Detect Speedhacking?

Just wondering, as I went legit for like 4 months of World of Warcraft, use a speedhack on my alt, next day banned for 3 days -- "3rd party software".

So, my question is does the warden/server have methods for detecting speed hacking? and if so, how likely is a ban, in terms of speedhacking/botting..

P.S, the ban was shortly after installing the WoW Addon "UltimateWoW" for some bot i found -- I didnt even run UltimateWoW bot, simply installed the addon, and was speedhacking after restarted WoW.., could UltimateWoW Addon have anything to do with the ban?

WoW detects speedhacks like the CE one. (process speeders)
