How do I get my friends to play WoW?

Okay well, I have a bunch of friends and apparently they think City of Heroes is 10x better than WoW. How can I get them to change their minds over to WoW? The main reason I want them to play is because I plan to make a reroll Hardcore Raiding Guild, in June, and it's always good to have a small group of players to start with.

Not a real easy thing to do lol, if you really want to RaF level with them or you just want to be able to chill with them on the game then your best bet is to show them the best gameplay parts of the things they like to do like for example PvP. Hit up warcraft movies and show them some top rated clips ect. if you doing it just to wrath level you might as well buy yourself another account and use the RaF bot thats on this website. (have not used it so idk how well it works) and if you are showing them gameplay make sure it has good music

best suggestion ever! BTW the problem is, is that one of them is actually influencing the others telling them that WoW is "too repetitive, too serious, and full of rage." He is the one telling the others to play CoH.

this is how i got my friends to play WoW:

I told them that i recently sold my account for $400.00 and I said that i'm going to be rich!! they started playing and got addicted @_@ and they have never sold an account heheheh..!! thanks

This is what I did to get some of my friends to play WoW.

Go to a LAN party with them, Start playing WoW, show them some good PvP or maybe a raid, show them the best parts of the game.
And then in the morning, when the lack of sleep and overdoses of Coka Cola starts to kick in, and when everything is god knows how much more funny, talk them into trying WoW with a free 14 day trial(much easier then normally at this point).

If they're into WoW, they'll be instantly hooked, atleast thats how it was for my firends.

tell them you can sell gold and do in-game quests for money leggaly theyll get hooked before noticing you cant

Rushing them, supporting them with large amount of gold, tips is a good way. I mean if they dont have to farm the gold for their first mount ( which isn't that hard for an experienced player but more complicated to a noob 8-) ) they will advance faster and access the fun part faster also

Just give them the trail key and get them hooked on, level 20 levels with them and give them stuff so thier collector genes get them hooked on "must have new shoulders / next lvl / item"

Ask them to trial it with you and do a RAF. If theyve already played it and don't like it then theres not a thing you can do. (In my opinion CoH isn't that great)
