What would you do? RE: guildies botting

Morality question here.

We're a smaller guild, but have very skilled members. One of our better healers recently found out about botting and took up afk botting bgs. As I'm here, I'm pretty chill with all of that. Tonight he didn't show up to heal a 25m ulduar that's obviously important to everyone in guild. However, he did technically show up as his bot was afk botting WSG all day long, and through the raid. Atleast 10 people reported him. My question is, should I talk them out of it?

send him a pm on ur forums that ppl reported him and that he is looking at a banhammer unless he stops it

Yeah planning on that. However it's been discussed heavily in guild chat, and when he whispered one of our officers in game he admitted to it and discussed it openly. I have to imagine if a GM investigates on any of those tickets they'll see that.

Visiting a site isn't a crime, and doesn't violate the ToS. I don't view it on my main PC to be safe too. And if you're talking about my guildies, while I'm sure some come here, no one would know who I am for sure.

i play as allidoisheal on a Oceanic realm called Aman'Thul, i come here for the guides i check out the bots section only because i like reading the diarys (i find them interesting) and I dont think you can get banned for that

and for your question... well theres not much you can do anymore because if hes already been reported by 10 people and he addmitted to it the gms could read his chat logs and find that same responce were he did admit to it and he will get the ban hammer!

I'd say most people in your guild are pieces of shit...he doesn't show up to heal once and you guys want him banned...what kind of guild is that?? if the bot did a good job healing ulduar why would you report him?? on the other hand of the bot didn't heal ulduar very well then tell him to stop, don't get him banned...

He was botting WSG through the day, and was still botting it during the raid. Does that help? Seriously. Show me one bot that could raid heal?
