I have bought gold in tbc using my own money to help me get an epic flying but since then I have only bought gold with scammed money

Never bought gold and never understood why people do, either. If you pick up two gathering professions for leveling and sell everything you can with Auctioneer, you should have enough for all your mounts/skills at appropriate levels. The only real reasons I can think of to buy gold would be to get expensive (and unnecessary) items ASAP, like the Mechano Hog or level cap epics from the AH, or if you bought a character or had one powerleveled.

I've bought lich king with gold (not from a company), but for all my leveling/gold needs I've always used glider. 20k gold total with glider setup for aoe farming, skinning and herbing (20-80). <3

No I haven't, and I see no point in it. For my 3 chars I bought all epic flyers and got em fully enchanted with my own gold. Never botted too Feels good earning things yourself.
