questions about model editing

hey, i was just wondering how do you change your texture to look like that of a monster, and if it matters if you have more than one MPQ file that you created.
any answers would really help.

most of the time monster models arent exactly like characthers. They dont have the actions of characters like eating, casting spells, sitting. So you prolly could but when you did something like that your wow would prolly crash or your character would turn into a white statue.

i was actually trying to change myself into a goblin, and i can get the model to work, just not the texture, please help.
