Recently while working with Cheat Engine and other debugging applications I ran across an interesting discovery in WoW.
I was trying to perfect some "long lost" methods for MaXe's next trainer, and a GM banned me faster than I've ever been banned before. Little small talk. I was onto something sensative.
Due to Blizz reading these forums, I can't go into details at the moment, but I need your help!
If I even make a trial account, and log into it, I can't take 5-10 steps before I get disconnected and I'm banned. No cheats involved. Blizzard is watching me.
My only guess is they are monitoring my IPs (I've used 3 seperate ones) or indenfiying my system itself upon logon ("uploading non-personal system information").
I need to trick their shit! I doubt they have systems in place to ban off IP addresses so quickly, because IPs can change between users rapidly. (I mean that in many ways)
I'm guessing the "uploading non-personal system information" is giving them my MAC address Hashed or some other way of letting them know "it's HolyForce, again!".
Who knows what that step sends, what other steps may send to them, how they might be detecting me and how I can block it?
I need a peice of software that'll botch my MAC address temporily and lie about my system name, network setup, etc I guess.
Help me out; if this works (and I think it's going to because of the attention I'm getting), it'll be the most epic thing to ever happen to WoW (abused it could cause EVERY PLAYER ON ANY REALM to be effected) .... but at that abuse level I'd prob see some jail time somehow so I'll release the how-to and let some crazy bastard do it
