    Tracing unregisterd sim-card? (Warrior reward)

    Hello!

I got a few questions, good answers will be awarded with a EU 70 warrior, just Usr/ and pass tho.

Can a unregistered sim-card be traced to an exact location or just to the closest "tele station if it has received a call but currently not active in any phone? With unregistered i mean that the sim card was given for free and no information is registered on it.

Can a phone be traced even with a different simcard inside?

I think I'm getting a bit paranoid tho lol

All mobile phone calls are recorded (I think they are trying to find Belardin? What my Science teach said!), but not traced! First, you can be anywhere, second of all, it can be given to anyone, so I would think not...
But they can trace the company of the sim card and last call and nearest signal/telecom like you said.
    Why do you ask?

Are they really recorded? I mean that would require massive amount of data storage wouldn't it?

It is actually possibly to track any sim card as long as it has a signal to the cell area it is in, but this is only done by the law agencies... and if I remember correctly carphone warehouse trialed a program a few years back where parents could see where their kids phones were (To track the children... in the UK only?).

It is all done through the use of cell triangulation (If I remember correctly) and also by seeing which cell "node" your sim card is connected to... Once the phone is turned off and no signal is emitted.. bam. No tracking possible.

A phone (The actual hardware) can not be traced that I know of... as it requires the sim to send any signal. Although I do believe that the phone may send out a particular code when registering with a new cell each time (And it is this code that the networks can use to block a phone even with the sim changed).

If you are trying to track someone this would not be a way of doing it as I know of no public software that comes close to what you would need.....

Yes, that is true, but some times, certain sim cards cannot be traced as the phone doesn't send the signal when not in use (e.g. stand by, out of range and having to use other networks, interferance).

And maybe calls are recorded, I mean we don't know for sure, but there is always a chance.

I guess the simcard can not be retraceable when its not actually in a phone isn't it?

No, as because the sim card has no power/way of transimitting the signal to the nearest becon to connect to the sim phone company.
Imagine trying to connect to the internet without an actual connect.

Tracing an unregistered SIM card involves using various methods to track its activity or location. Authorities can trace such SIM cards through mobile network providers, who can access usage data linked to the card. Track globe sim card is one such example where individuals can track the location and other details of their Globe SIM card if it's lost or used illegally. These tracing techniques help enhance security and prevent fraud.
