Sold my account and someone is scamming people with it

Howdy,
I frequent this site, and i appreciate the advice forum members give.

Anyways, a few months ago i sold my account to someone over another website. The deal was legit and everything, and i was very happy with the transaction. Since then, i have not been in touch with my buyer, but i did notice on the same website that someone with my account keeps scamming people trying to trade it. Im not sure if its the same person, but i was wondering if i can recover the account. Obviously i am the OO of the account, and i have the secret question/answer, but the email and phone number is changed that i dont know it. Is there a way that if i call Blizzard will they return the account to me?

They will only make it back to you.. If you have the CD-Key and you call them.. Trading accounts is Illegal by Blizz Terms..

So you would have to tell you had been hacked, and you want your account back, then you need the CD-Key and you will get it back.. If you don't have it, it will be a lot harder..

What about if i can send them my ID or credit card info or something?? that account is like 2 years old, i have no idea what the CD KEY is.

Heh, that's what i was going to say maxe, just message Blizz and say you've been hacked.

When they see alot of the info changed, it's going to look very suspicious.

If you can't find the CD key (which apparently you can't) tell blizzard that you can't find the key unfortunatly, but you CAN supply them with the ORIGINAL information that was on the account.

If you can validly give them the information that was originally on the account, they might be able to overlook the fact that you simply lost the CD Key.

Then again, 'might' is different than 'will', but maybe you can get somewhere with this :\
