BFA Alpha - Cave under Alcaz Island

Hey!

My second post on this site Last one was back in 5.4 hehe.


So I was playing around on a sanbox server using the 8.0.1 client, and noticed this underwater cave on Alcaz Island.
I wasn't sure if I had seen it before so I went on to the live servers and noticed it's not there.
Might be availible in some phased part of the map on the live servers, but I thought I might as well share it.

Yea I noticed, might be a placeholder. Who knows :confused:

IIRC it's a copy of the cave located in the Maelstrom during the Priest quest for the class mount.

Love this cave! I enjoy exploring the one in Sholazar Basin (the aquarium has no water in it), I hope this one remains the same. Looking forward to it going live. Thanks for sharing! +rep

So I recently got an invite to the Alpha.

Cave is still there, no NPC's or any differences.

Place is called Jewelhammer's Vault. Still nothing new down there in terms of NPCs though. Name appears here as well Battle for Azeroth Alpha - Build 25902 Misc Changes
I wonder how many old places recieved updates like this, that we might be able to gleam from patch changes like that. Seems many zones had changes to their soundtracks in some ways perhaps, and it's just the subzones being listed.. Guess it just takes spotting the odd ones out.
