[MoP Beta] How to Get D/C Macro Working (for glitching through walls)

Hey guys!

For a long while on beta this had bugged me - I found that I couldn't use my d/c macro to glitch through walls, instead having to time closing my WoW window...effectively having to completely restart the client every time I needed to d/c for this glitch.

However, I then stumbled across the beta gold bug thread on the Exploits section, where someone very kindly posted a macro to enable scripts in the beta...

...and hey presto! With a small modification, my d/c macro works as normal

So what I've done here is very simply combined the old d/c macro with the macro for enabling scripts to make a new, beta-friendly d/c macro - saves you having to use two separate macros to enable the scripts, then to d/c - this just puts them together. Just use this macro like you did your old one and it should work fine!

Many of you may well have figured this out for yourself, but if you haven't, and are wondering how to get it to work, use this new macro.

/script PickupItem(12947)
/script PlaceAction(1)

So, essentially, I've just taken the first line which enables scripts, then added to it the d/c macro that I currently use in 4.3. Very simple step, but hopefully you'll find it useful

You can also add /use Vrykul Drinking Horn, /use Elixir of Giant Growth to the start to make 1 super duper easy d/c macro (if you use growth items like those as opposed to mounts to glitch through walls).

I didn't really explore on the beta yet mostly because i was too lazy to find a dc macro (and i'm quite lost there: p).

It looks like this no longer works. The game places an item with an icon in slot 1 and does not DC the client anymore

Yes, unfortunately this has been fixed I'm currently looking for a new method, but in the meantime, you can just do the standard alt-f4, or time closing your WoW window to get the same effect.
