[Howto] Use the Otherworld bug efficiently & get behind the gates of AQ using it

    Hi,

I guess everyone in here knows the Otherworld glitch. I want to explain a few things I "discovered" with it.

First of all, to use it efficiently, you need a mount being able to carry passengers (mammoth or chopper) and a second account or a friend.
Use the otherworld glitch, your friend/2nd account should stay in the "actual" world. Meet him at a point where you're both able to see each other and mount up. Your friend/2nd account should get on your mount.
Now you'll ride around in the Otherworld, while your friend/2nd account will see the "real" world. I'm not experienced with this, but (in the case you have 2 accounts) if you can use both WoW games windowed, this would be perfect.
Anyway, with this your friend (or yourself) is able to navigate you through the "real" world and you can find places to go to without falling to death etc.

    A few warnings considering this:
Before using this glitch, your friend/2nd account should make sure there's nobody in the area watching you. A flying mammoth could cause tickets.
Avoid highly populated areas like Orgrimmar for the above reason.
Altogether, you should use this at night or in the mornings, so possible encounters with other players will be reduced as much as possible.
Don't disconnect or log out. After logging in, you and your friend/2nd account will most likely fall to death.
Don't jump into the water. It will disconnect you.
Don't dismount. Your friend will either fall to death or on "his" ground and you'll have to find a place where he's in range to get on your mount.

Anyway, with this method I found a way to get behind the AQ gates in the "real" world.

    First, go to Booty Bay.
    Take the ship to Ratchet.
    Then jump into the water.

Now wait until the ship goes to Booty Bay.

Use the disconnect macro. Log in.
You'll now fall into the abyss.

    Release your ghost and resurrect.

You'll be in front of Hammerfall in Arathi.
If you want to use the abovementioned method, a good location to meet your friend is this "forge".

It's in the same location for you and and him while in the surroundings you'll be mostly under "his" ground.
Now go all the way down to Stormwind. Don't worry about getting dismounted, these areas are serverside, so you can even ride through the Blackrock.
Avoid the southern half of Elwynn. It'll give you fatigue. Instead you'll have to jump over some rivers. Remember, don't fall into them. Mammoths have the biggest collision model of all mounts, so with them you'll have the least risk of falling into the water.
Now, in Stormwind, head to the Park.
In the park, you have to stand on this position:

Now disconnect and log in. You'll land safe on this position.

You can start exploring the uninstanced Ahn'Quiraj!

Some of the area there seems to be "Unknown", so you could possibly get a WL there and port someone on his flying mount!

I will look out for other areas to get to using this glitch and post them!

And I apologize for spelling mistakes, I'm not a native english speaker.
