Stormwind Minimap Glitch?

I found this today while running around SW. When I went on a certain section of the building i disappeared and the minimap changed to an olderlooking version of SW.

Hmm. I was gonna say you used the zoom button.. but from further examination that's not the reason. That's odd. O.o

Hmm did u modify speed or anything? Becouse when you move to fast that happens ,and sometimes you get stuck in combat.

Modify speed? It doesn't look like a private server, and he's level 17.. so no ghost wolf yet.

Yea Blizzard newer patches are very glitchey.

Its when you stand on Certain Raised platforms in SW for example when you are on the way upto the Gryphons if you walk on the walls along the side of the ramp you will get the same Result.

Possibility; theres two layers of Stormwind - one under an other. If you jump under Stormwind you won't get there because the layer is so fine - you have to go down like one inch to get to it from the normal ground.. From where you were was a little flaw - you were above a tiny gap opening which changed the minimap setting. You know when you enter zones that go "Felwood" for example. Well you cross a certain triggering point, or maybe bypass a condition of terrain tileset change. This might have been the effect you had occured. Regardless; i'm checking this out.

It was unlikely anyway. It's just the inner showing of the buildings as I found out.

The "Odd" Picture is "real Stormwind" as it would be seen on normal minimap transition, it can be seen in certain parts of SW, and underneath SW. The one we normally see is the, for whatever reason, changed version that layers on top of the old for whatever reason, when in certain pleces. Which adds another oddity to their mini-mapping system.

Certain parts include the Stockade-like building which is locked; Seen on a Private Realm.
