[Guide] Under Dire Maul (video provided)

Warning: My exploration videos make use of certain in-game abilities (such as speed boosts, slowfall, etc) in order to make certain areas accessible beyond regular means such as running/jumping. I try to get to areas that any CLASS could reach as long as they put the effort into getting the correct "access materials" to assist them.

In short: Engineering is a must.

UNDER DIRE MAUL

I couldn't recall ever having gone here myself at any point and decided to figure out a method to do so. Utilizing a WoTLK sandbox, I checked out the various mountain ranges and stumbled upon some easy access areas that were reachable from the twin peaks in the NW of the zone.

When you watch the video, notice where I land. There's a big tree to my right, don't go down that way. TBH, if you follow my video exactly - you shouldn't have any problems. I put in some directions for certain visual landmarks that will help you line yourself up correctly.

I avoided putting it on youtube because it's too public of a venue and the more people that know about things, the sooner it's no longer possible.

Are you using the engineering tinker for a speed boost?

Yes, rocket boots are equipped. They have allowed me to get to a lot of areas that would be previously unreachable.

Cool... Is this useful in any ways?

I wouldn't necessarily consider any exploration useful, but I enjoy going to areas that you aren't suppose to visit.
