INVINCIBILITY Godmode Exploit! Become IMMUNE to Damage

There is a way to become IMMUNE to damage in WoW.

Horde:
Step 1: Quest up until “Feels like the First Time.” Pick it up.
Prepare a logout macro (/camp)

Step 2: Head to Orgrimmar, to the Vulpera starting area.

Step 3: As soon as you touch the Vulpera spawn point, a cinematic will play. Logout a split second before it plays.

Step 4: Log back in and enjoy

Alliance:
Step 1: Quest up until “Feels like the First Time.” DONT pick it up. Have a friend pick it up.
Prepare a logout macro (/camp)

Step 2: Head to Boralus, to the Kul Tiran starting area.

Step 3: When you enter the Kul Tiran spawn point, have your friend share the quest. Logout a split second after you accept the quest share.

Step 4: Log back in and enjoy

Amazing find. I can't think of any serious stuff you can do with this solo without getting reported. But If you have a party of people you know and trust (people who won't report you), then all of you could use the exploit to push really high keys without anyone batting an eye.

Tried to enter vault of the incarnates with this and it stunned me, ported me back to the quest location and removed the invincibility. So I'm guessing you can't use this in instances.

It’s usable in battlegrounds and dungeons (not M+); there seems to be an additional roadblock with raids.

But like with the Boralus teleport thing, there’s probably a “workaround” of some sort, like maybe warlock summoning? I didn’t do much raid-testing, but I’m sure someone could figure something out.

Yeah it was the same effect from the original quest so there is likely some way around it. That said, it seems unlikely in any case that in modern wow that invincibility is enough by itself to solo most bosses, given the complex mechanics involved nowadays where you can wipe without technically dying,so I'm not motivated to continue since we probably have until Wednesday with this.

Best use I've found so far is just leveling-there's various ways to kill elites quickly if you are invulnerable and can tank everything. I'm tempted to solo an epic bg but that's just asking for a ban.

Some more things for the curious:
1. By-passes a lot of out of bounds mechanics especially in bg's. GREAT for explorers.
2. Can't be used in solo shuffle/arena you get stunned ported out.
3. Has some strange effects on npc's. I was soloing Volrath in ashran and he started walking slowly in and out of a wall-probably something to do with low aggro.

It’s Thursday and this STILL WORKS. Tested it again and it’s still working.

I wonder if it’s not something that can be “easily” fixed.

I would imagine it is a fairly simple piece of code to replace....but they don't seem to be fixing anything much at the moment.

Apparently there is still an invincibility bug somewhere on that quest or questline. No I have no idea where....yet.
