Baby Mammoth Hunter Pets (Unintended Tame)

HOTFIXED (but any mobs wandering around that haven't respawned since the hotfix are still tameable)

Blizzard has stated they don't want baby hunter pets but two mammoth babies are incorrectly flagged as tameable on Live right now

Snowy Mammoth Calf - NPC - 10.0.2 Beta (Grey)
Frostytrunk Calf - NPC - 10.0.2 Beta (Brown)

'How is this an exploit', it's an unintended mob flagged as tameable you can go out and nab to have an exclusive trophy pet once they hotfix it to be untameable, that's about it

Knew about the Frostytrunk thanks to a Petopia poster, but the other one is new. Thanks for sharing! Gonna grab the grey one when servers come up, assuming it isn't fixed by then.

Blizzard put out a hotfix, so any newly spawned mammoths are untameable. It's still possible to tame the ones that existed before the hotfix (as confirmed by a post on Petopia), but come reset, they'll be permanently untameable. A shame, but expected.

Glad I pushed myself to level yesterday to 65 on hunter alt and tame them in time

Apparently (as of right now) the blue eye'd baby mammoths are still tameable.
(Which should be the Frosty Trunk Calf)
