Does the rename exploit still works these days?

It was something along the lines of:
- Delete char X on account 1
- Make a new char Y on account 2 with the name of char X on the same server
- Restore char X on account 1, you are flagged for a rename.

On Classic it does if your character is below level 30.

I just tested on retail with 60s, it does not allow you to immediately. You may need to wait 7 or 30 days though, not confirmed / sure though, just a theory.

Doesn't seem to work anymore, only works if you have another battle.net account(friend maybe) make a character and you need to wait sometime, no idea how long and it works

I believe its 30 days if a character is deleted for the name to be freed up to use for other players.
