Fast "Defend [insert zone]" Calling

Not sure about that. I've found most chests in Bastion are ones that disappear after one open, but Maldraxxus, Revendreth and Ardenweald most of them work well.

I tested two in rev, up until now every zone worked.

Seems like it has been fixed. I tried it myself and my guildies says so too. Well it was great as long as it lasted

I was trying this right now to change to the same Covenant. After opening different chests (in Bastion) they seem to disappear.

I can confirm it's fixed (if it ever worked), they disappear after you close the window, can't click on them again, and you get the loots by mail.

It worked, I used it serveral times. They seem to stealth hotfixed this and now it is working as intended.

Damn this was a good Time Safer especially if you are switchting back to the same covenant.

Not fixed everywhere , in Ardenweald this chest if you spam open without loot (dont enable autoloot) you finish the defense quest ! (positon 36,23 on tree)

Confirmed, the Enchanted Dreamcatcher doesn't despawn like other chests do and you can keep clicking it to finish the defending of the zone.
