Rogue Cheat Death Bug/Exploit

Hey all =)

A few days ago I respeced, and putted points into Cheat Death. It's all jolly and good, but I noticed one thing:

Was fighting in Lumber mill (Arathi basin), and got surrounded by hordes. Being the nablet I was, I jumped a bit over the hill when I was getting Zerged.
Enough to say, Cheat death proceed just before I landed (where I knew I would die).

However, the stranger thing is, The fall damage was reduced by 99% damage, leaving me intact to run away. Not sure if It is working as intended

In conclusion:

-Have cheat death
-get a horde friend to get you to low hp
-Jump, at that time make your friend do an attack that would otherwise kill you
-Live happily on

Was trying to reconstruct it in case it was just a lucky jump, but haven't been lucky with hordes and jumps

Mmm how is this a exploit? It's working. A jump / hit that would otherwise kill you, will miss. ^^

True.. but then Priest's Power Word Shield would absorb it too..

But I didn't mean cheat death proccing on jump landing.. Proccing a few moments before you land from an enemies blow =P

Are you sure PW:S doesnt absorb fall damage?
If it does then I might be right but then again, killing blow = fall, could be common sence but I dont play a rogue so I wouldnt know lol.

cheat death lasts 3 seconds... you need at least 1 to see it activates and jump... 2 seconds fall wont do damage to you anyways... so the thread is useless....

Some spells got Travel time =) And dont forget the range.. you just need perfect timing

Dots could proc Cheat Death during a 10 second fall makeing the thread next to useless

Cheat death is currently 99.9%. The PTR fixes it to 90% as the talent states.

To be completely honest, this is in no way an exploit or a bug.

The ability itself is bugged but the method you are "using" it in is completely working as intended.

I remember the days when cheat death proced off landing after a big fall ... Used to jump off LM cliff hoping hordies would follow ^_^

While working as intended, this is not what the ability is used for and I'm sure many rogues (such as my PvP toon) have missed this.
