If you want to slow down leveling progression just get D.I.S.C.O. toy. And place it on some quest object you need to click and pick up.
For 5 minutes no one will be able to pick it up :P
Works with weekly chests and cauldrons at raids.

Need to check if you can use it in battlegrounds and place on flags :P (propably flag is too tall for it)
