    Low FPS? Try this

Every time I go to quest in Zangarmarsh, or am just walking around a major city or somewhere else populated, i always have low FPS. To simply put, all you need to do to get rid of your FPS problem is point your camera downwards and your fps will shoot back up.

Yes, i know, that thisis kind of common sense, but im just telling the public.

If you start Windows Media Player BEFORE starting wow, you'll have better fps. Proven from worldofraids.com

It doesn't work for every one, plus all you need for good fps is a semi decent computer :P

My fps hanged around 60 with some tweaks from tweakxp, but my comp was full of shit and hadn't defragged..
Now i have used some serious tweaks and just formatted hard drive, defragging almost every day (:P) Just gotta reinstall WoW xD
    My comp specs :
    AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.2GHz Processor
ATI Radeon x850 256mb Graphics card
    1 G RAM
    About 80 G hard drive
This comp was like.. well, amongst the best two years ago when i got it, still handles WoW better than most peoples :P

    Back on topic :
I wouldnt wanna watch down everytime i go to city xD
And here's a tip for ya : Play in full screen mode :P I had 60 FPS in full screen and around 20-30 in minimized (whatever)

if you have low fps when playing wow.. then its time to get a new computer/upgrade. (50-60 fps is usually the standard for wow)

No that wasnt around the best around 2 years ago...

Mines 2 and a half years old, and beats your spec hands down in every area. And i considered mine a bargain buy.

    My spec:

    Amd athlon 3800+
    Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT 256mb
    1gb ram.

    Bout all that matters

But yea itl still run wow pretty awesome. But nothing compared to my grand sony laptop that runs 4 gliding wow's at full gfx no problem.
