Party sync exploit

Hi everyone, nothing major but I thought I would share.


We all know what party sync is, allows you to party with a lower level and depending on the other party members level determines your own level. Well it can be handy for XP, in my example levelling in 110-120 I can party with a lower level and complete that level range quests for quite good XP.

The exploit here is you can complete 99% of that quest at your normal level, then party sync with your lower level to finish the final 1% then gain quite nice XP.

On my 112 I just ran around Gorgrond did all the little world quest things leaving 1 objective left (ie looting something, killing 1 final mob etc) on my 112 is a cake walk as those mobs are like 12 levels lower, , then party sync with my 99 which limited my character to level 100, doing the final 1% of those world quests granted 80k XP each.

This is more like a smart guide than an exploit. Unless you know a way to make this repeatable, or to party sync with yourself having only one account.

You can do this without party sync, I published this a while back. I'm not sure offhand is party sync adds anything?

Party Sync works for my topic, it is key.

eg at 112 doing the legion invasions world quests gives like 4K xp, but if you do 99% of that world quest, then party sync down to level 100, that world quest awards like 80k iirc. and you already done 99% of that quest at your higher level.

I'm not at home to test this but I have a really good idea to take this to the next level.

Would it be possible to take a character that is say, 110, party sync to WoD levels, go to Gorgrond and have multiple quest turn ins ready and all bonus objectives 1 kill/item from completion, and use an elixir of the rapid mind? Doing so would be huge for toons boosted after WoD that hadn't completed them.
