Sunwell Plateau Gold Farming, Endless Respawn
Method for farming Sunwell Plateau without getting locked out
Instructions
1. Kill the mobs nearest the entrance.
2. Kill one of the four packs of NPC's, do not kill the sunblade scout which patrols around them. Loot.
3. Drop combat.
4. Repeat.
There's a ton of valuable plans and other recipes as well as some nice transmog items that sell for
tens of thousands of gold.
I didn't even mention this in the video but this is possibly the best way to farm Blade Of Wizardry.

Thanks for posting this: but this is literally how raid groups used to farm sunwell trash back when it first launched back in TBC. form a 25 man raid, nuke the first trash pack except one mob, loot, run out, run back in. this has kind of been known since TBC.
i wont give too much crap about it though, cause at this point the number of people who remember the trick is probably pretty damn low. :P

Actually that specific trick was nerfed back in 2014. I could not find any way of getting the trash nearest the entrance to respawn.
This method is different.
That said the original trick did make me think there were probably instant respawn possibilities-and it turned out Blizzard did a really lazy job on the nerf.
There's probably other stuff in the dungeon btw that can be triggered by different methods.

did you actually try this for a longer time? i used another drop combat technique to farm a respawning trash pack and they stopped dropping loot after dropping combat about 50 times or something. would like to know if theres a global mechanic that prevents this abuse or if that one was just in place for the trash i farmed

I dont know how much i agree that moving to the next trash pack is a new method. it is, however, super lazy of blizzard.

I don't think it is global, I think it is account-specific. I get it all the time with other stuff like this, though not with sunwell.
Other people do not have the same experiences as me, verifiably so. So there is some kind of anti-grind mechanic in place tied to specific accounts.
Note I've received bans for botting (even though that is probably the only thing in the t&c I've never actually done), which may be a factor here.

Thank you for that guide!
