I did it the regular way and it took about an hour and a half with people on the same wowhead page. It's not hard to obtain. It seems like you can bruteforce the arcane lava/ swirling portal part by spam clicking the portal when it trys to kick you off.

Nope not fixed.

There's also another method using 5 demon hunters. You dont need to do log out method, but just abuse walls etc to get arund objects, did it last night.
