[WotLK] Disabling auto-target when hit by an enemy

Greetings,

I was wondering if anyone knows about a script or hack that allows you to turn off auto-targeting when being hit/casted at with spell.
Recently I saw a player on my server that appeared to be playing like this, he never had a target despite being attacked by others and casting at others himself.
I asked him how he does it but he simply said he uses focus macros for casting spells at enemies (which obviously doesn't explain why he still doesn't auto-target when being hit in combat).
Clearly there's more to it than that and he doesn't want to reveal it to avoid getting banned.

I did my research and apparently it's not possible to disable this feature with a "normal" script, so I'm asking on this forum.
I'd be happy if someone could help me.

It's not a normal script, it's a hack. Gagarin (Gagarin - Advanced multi-hack for WoW 3.3.5a) has this function, but unsure if it's detected.
