New fly without mount method

1. Find a priest
2. Duel said priest
3. Get on your flying mount
4. Get slightly into the air, you cannot be on the ground
5. Tell priest to mind control you
6. Dismount
7. ???
8. Profit!

At what point do you dismount? Just before getting mc'd?

No, you duel, then mount up, then get in the air. AFTER you are mind controlled, you dismount. It's client side, so it only looks that way to you, but it's still damn cool.

Another way of doing this if you dont have a flying mount is to just do it with an epic ground mount. You won't fly, but you'll just run really fast.

Again, it's client side, so in reality, you will still be mounted up, but to yourself it will look like you're running.

With regards to a flying mount. Couldn't you just type /dismount while on a flight path while flying?

I don't know. I just tested this on the ptr (after I saw literally 20 people outside shatt flying around without a mount). I did it myself, and it's exactly like the old mage bug, you're basically swimming in the air.
