You can't keep from going AFK without calling those protected commands like /cast or the movement APIs. Unfortunately, you can't delay those types of commands; they require hardware events.

The /in command or any other timing addon will not keep you from automatically going AFK.

I just tried it a few times using your macro to /say and alternatively /whisper after 299 seconds, but I still was automatically flagged AFK seconds later. I tried it inside and outside of battlegrounds with identical results.

If you truly are avoiding AFKs, it's because of something other than this /in command.

As a side note, the /in command is packaged with all Ace2 addons that embed AceEvent-2.0.

    Tried it with /in 220 /w ... worked!
I think 299 is already too long isn't it? Don't know the time you need to be flagged afk.
Try 220, 440, 660, 880 and so on. Worked for me.

i found it easier to do it like this:

    make the macro( duh lol)

Spam it once you enter AV directly, once the game starts, once you're moving to an AFK spot & then in the afk spot again

this way you'll use the whispers several times thus fully preventing afk

When testing the /in macro, are you just leaving your mouse and keyboard alone for 5 minutes or alt tabbing back and forth to check? Are you counting down from the last time you hit your macro?

I just tested this again by spamming the macro and using 220 seconds, and was still flagged AFK after just over 300 seconds - 5 minutes.

Addons haven't been able to keep you from going AFK for as long as I can remember. The /in command doesn't do anything magical; it just delays a script from running for a number of seconds. A trivia bot addon does effectively the same thing. How many times has the idea of trivia bots as anti-AFK devices come up and been shot down on these forums? Plenty of times.
