i dont have a msmq
Works - rep! Got me from 200 ping (been ****ed up lately) to a whoopin 6 ping
/REP to you SIR/LADY
dude i love it its awsome
I personally hate everything about latency, as I normally have to play with ridiculously spiky pings ranging from 500 to 5000 ms...
If this can be further confirmed, I'd be willing to try it myself, and should it work, I'll love you for life and +rep.
Now, answer me this... Is this a method to reduce a STABLE latency down further, or does it also work on horrible networks that spike often (ie my campus)? Simply reducing it from another stable latency is pretty impressive, but if it could really remove all forms of lag spikes as well, that's amazing.
Edit: I seem to be missing MSMQ on my computer. Does anyone know where I can get MSMQ 3.0?

i will wait til others confirm it as well.. and i also have that prob with random lag spikes.
It works. Usually have a 250 ms now have a 90.
Ok ive just screwed with my files now i dont have a MSMQ... is this a joke? What am i ment to do now :cry2: . Help please!
Worked PERFECT! I went from 365 ms to 22!!! if i could give you rep i would!! Thank you so much, i recommend everyone to try it!!!
Here's what you're doing to your computers. Beware that this affects your entire computer (Not just WoW). It is legit, but I cannot vouch for the improvement you will see.Making these changes might get you better ping times, but could have adverse affects on other things like downloading or web browsing.
- TcpAckFrequency- This DWORD tells the TCP stack how many frames (in the range of 1-3) to wait before a response is given. By setting the count to 1, no delay is used.
- TCPNoDelay- Disables nagling. Nagling is a TCP feature that combines several small packets into a single, larger packet for more efficient transmission. By default, Message Queuing (also known as MSMQ) enables nagling on the TCP sockets it uses. This improves overall performance, but it might briefly delay transmission of smaller packets. If the delay is undesirable or unacceptable, then you can add this entry to the registry to disable nagling.

It works from 100 ms to 60.... but indeed my internet suddenly got slower. to get rid of these registery's you just delete them right ??
anyway +Rep for posting this
It's alright. I had this problem too. Older computers occasionally don't have the folder, but they do have MSMQ running. Follow these steps.
1. Open up Notepad.
2. Copy these EXACT lines into Notepad:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters]
"TCPNoDelay"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters\OCMsetup]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters\Security]
"SecureDSCommunication"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters\setup]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Setup]
Leave one extra blank line after the \Setup]
3. Now, click Save As..., save to the desktop, and save as "all files" (NOT .TXT). Save the file as msmq.reg and minimize to the desktop.
4. The file should look like a broken rubix cube. Double-click on it and it will ask if you want to merge it into the registry. Click yes.
Note that I have already entered the TCP configuration, so you don't have to enter in the new values.
On a separate note, this DOES work. My latency is generally between 800 ms and 5000 ms on my campus, and this hack has brought it down to a relatively stable 200 ms. Do not be afraid to do it.
Also, +rep to the OP, even if he did copy it from EJ forums.
Edit:
Don't delete them. Either revert to an older configuration (you should have saved your registry), or manually change the values to 2 (which is the default value and isn't originally shown just because the computer has been programmed to do that already).It works from 100 ms to 60.... but indeed my internet suddenly got slower. to get rid of these registery's you just delete them right ??

Ok read the wow forum link same thing... there was linked a file on which you click and all the stuff whats needed to disable the data holder bla bla bla... but could anyone get or make a enabler cause this slows a BIT i mean a bit downloading performance speed so it would be nice to have 2 files to click
1 to enable(to play wow with good latency) second to disable(surf net for porn)
