    Getting Behind Instance Portals

    Getting behind an instance portal can be extremely useful for PvP or for satisfying that undying curiosity.

    Simply type /script SetDungeonDifficulty(3);

    A message should appear saying something about entering Epic difficulty.

    You can now walk freely through any and all instance portals.

    Do undo this, type /script SetDungeonDifficulty(2); for Heroic or

    /script SetDungeonDifficulty(1); for Normal.

    Not posting screens, too lazy.

    Enjoy!

    Line of sight can help anyone. =P

    If there are horde on you near an instance portal, tell your group you'll brb, drop group, and run behind the instance portal for safety. After that you can rejoin the group and enter the instance from behind.

    If you've already done this command it will default back to Epic difficulty when you leave the group,

    sounds cool-1 question, can you just walk a small way behind the instance or go around the full instance? if u can go around the full instance this would be very useful for exploration.

    You can only go as far as the instance is structured... Some may go further back than others. The only full instance set up behind the instance portal that I can think of is ZG.

    Yep, mages can blink past most of the purple portals, and all of them tend to go round a corner not far behind the portal and just hit a dead end. Just because blizz forgot to put the standard invisible walls behind the portal like they did with the original blue-portal instances
