Keeping mounts from bnet-bnet migration

Working as of 26-07-2018.

As of today, when you migrate characters(who earned mounts/achievements), their achievements/mounts migrate WITH them and gets removed from the original account.

The workaround for this:

#1. Requires 2x WoW Accounts on the same Bnet.
#2. Requires 2x Max lvl characters (not including the one you're migrating).

Steps: (if you're trying to keep a mount)

Login to your 2nd WoW Account, any max lvl character.
Start the migration from your 1. wow account -> different bnet.
once you've started the migration log into a 2nd maxlvl character on ur 1st acc.
stay online on 1st & 2nd accs.

You might need to relog a couple of times on 1st account while staying online on 2nd account.

Profit!!

This is very useful if you're attempting to sell a single character etc with special things on it.
You could copy The black qiraj mount or unobtainable mounts etc.

If I understand correctly you need a total of 2 battle.net accounts, but 3 WoW accounts:
For reference:
Battle.net A = Battle.net source (account with existing wow accounts on)
Battle.net B = Destination account


Battle.net A (Wow Account 1) needs to initiate a transfer to Battle.net B
During the transfer, Battle.net A (Wow Account 2) needs to be logged in, in game, on a 110 while WoW Account 1 is migration

My theory behind this method is that before Wow Account 1's Character is transferred it gets stripped of it's mounts etc. However, if Wow account 2's character is logged in then they are instantly synced back to the character.

I managed to copy over Ashes from one bnet to another

It ONLY works if you migrate the character whom obtained said mount.

Obtain Spectral on character A.

Move Character A from account A to Account C.

While everything is happening, stay online on Character B on Account B.

When character A is done moving to Account C, you log into Character C on Account A.
