How to use Fighter Chow in combat [The confirmed version]
So, you may have seen my other thread that I just closed... yeah... Minutes after closing it, I figured out how to do it. This time around, I verified it on multiple characters, my 110 Human Warlock , 110 Night Elf Druid, and 110 Human Rogue.
It's actually very easy to trigger this exploit. All you have to do it manually log out with the Well Fed buff from Fighter Chow. Upon logging back in, it will work in combat. This was tested with a manual logout as well as a logout due to inactivity, which I'm pretty sure are the same thing. Tested in both 20 second logout as well as sanctuary instant logout. This works on all content.
Steps:
1.) Use Fighter Chow and get your buff. Be max Versatility* for max buff potency.
2.) Logout either through waiting 20 seconds (instant city logout works) or going afk too long
3.) Enjoy having a buff that doesn't change depending on your gear and works in combat.
Edit - Cleaned up the post.
* Credit to Crysto. ilvl doesn't directly affect the potency, Versatility does.

Keep in mind, ilvl doesn't boost the effect.
Versatility does however, so just build a vers set with vers gems/enchants.
Use a vers potion, elixir and an on-use trinket, you should easily be able to hit 1k+ vers for 3k per tick.
Once you've got the 3k tick rolling, switch back to your normal set ez
Currently trying to find a buff in the world that increases my vers by a ton.

To my knowledge, it only increases vers by like 52 outdoors. I was thinking more along the lines of the 10% vers buff from the 'doom shroom' in broken shore.

Reason: doom shroom

This is an object lesson in intellectual rigour and reverse-engineering your own exploit. Max rep.

Ah, thanks. I couldn't quite figure out what caused it. At first, I thought it was HP, but after switching to a tank spec, it was healing for about the same. I'll edit that into the OP.
