Lag7 still functions. You need to ensure it's an exception in your AV as it uses netsh ipsec to block ports for X amount of seconds.

For people that are unable to make slash command lag macros work, anything that runs long enough can cause similar effect

for example

/run for i=1,10000000000 do end

extreme case would be using /run while true do end which would permanently freeze client. Principle is same.

style macros work because of wow's ineffective command handler tries to loop through all known slash commands to see if it finds match.

I play on 3.3.5a myself.

/run is just shorter alias to /script. I suppose it doesn't exist in vanilla.

There you will find the enhanced version has a nice CD effect that can be used to let the game recoonect prior to you been able to use it again therefore chaining them without disconnects if needed
