Hello,

I´ve discovered the class weapons from AQ20 can be refunded for free and sold to same vendor (Warden Haro) for gold.

Each hammer is sold for 7g 39s

It is not too much, but if you can make a macro for refund and sell, you can make some easy gold.

Edit1: Refund is by special chat bubble dialogue with NPC Warden Haro "I have lost my hammer... etc"

How does one refund a quest reward? Are you saying you sell the hammer, purchase it back from buyback, then sell it again?

The problem is that unless you are revered/exalted with the cenarion circle you can't complete the quest. You could grind up rep in Silithus (today is a great day to get murdered in Silithus btw). But you'll also need some rare items which drop in ahn'qiraj, which is quite likely to take several days at least to farm even with good luck. By which time this will almost certainly have been fixed.

Indeed, i wonder if anyone has a handy macro for this? Because combined with the Consortium Key Sender (which by itself has never been a reason of being banned, but this exploit defintely is so whatever) and setting a precise delay between each action; say, macro 1 opens the chat, macro 2 selects the refund dialogue, macro 3 opens the merchant tab (or a mount vendor), macro 4 sells the specific item. Combine everything into a single macro (or use the key sender with set delays), it could lead to almost botting but much harder to detect (if you don't stay logged in 24/7 of course).
It is indeed literal free gold, and since each time the operation is done it yelds 7 gold, if it even took as much as 20 whole seconds it'd be 21g per minute/1260g per hour. Pocket change for active play, but quite nice for safer pseudo-botting.

Got the Dagger of Veiled shadows from the quest, there's no refund special dialogue for me at least. It just allows you to buy the same weapon for 40 gold, and buying it back just takes away the 7 gold you made. Either only the shaman weapon is bugged or i've done somethign wrong.

Tomorrow my instance lock will expire and i'll be able to try and get the Spiked hilt to complete the quest, provided they haven't fixed this in 3 days only (or provided this was a legit bug to begin with).
If i multiboxed would i be able to trade the Spiked Hilt to the other character with the whole "2 hour limit to trade soulbound stuff with teammates" or are those purple items not affected by it? It'd rather suck to have to wait a whole week because of bad RNG to try this out.

I see, can you confirm if this actually works for the shaman hammer? Or was it fixed/it didn't work to begin with?

Hi cannot seem to get this to work. I do play shaman on US servers no option to buy back the item.
