Human Transformation

First of all, I would like to apologise to all active posters here. I am very lazy, which I am not so active poster, althought this community has fun little adds to WoW which makes gaming a bit more fun (and more rewarding )

Anyways, I found a way to take the Human Transformation from Caverns of Time: Escape from Durnholde. You know when you enter the dungeon and transform into a human? The buff can persist through death, it is only dispelled WHEN the target dies. So, if there is another transformation on you before you die, next things happens (theory):
1. You die.
2. You lose your own form.
3. You transform into the human, since the game says "Oh, he dispelled the transform, better to make him look a human again"
4. The human form doesn't go away, since you are already dead.

So, after a small test I managed to get it out of there. I do not know if this has been posted before. This is done with a shaman, so I am not sure if it can be done with other characters. Easy steps:

1. Go into Caverns of Time and into the instance ( I did this on heroic, the mobs kill me faster, it should work on normal too )
2. Get to the Durnholde Keep.
3. You see those first mobs of the instance, right there on the castle gates?
4. Un-equip your gear, since you are going to die.
5. Start casting Lightning Bolt at the mobs.
6. When the spell is cast, instantly start casting Ghost Wolf. You should be in Ghost Wolf form when the adds reach you.
7. Let them kill you. When you die, you notice that you die in human animation, and the buff stays on you.
8. Take spirit ressurrection. Tadaa, now you are human!

I think it will go away when you die the next time, but it sure is fun to run around Orgrimmar in human form. As I said, I'm not sure if it works with other classes, but I recommend someone to try it, replacing the Ghost Wolf with Deviate Fish Delight.

added tip if ur doing this b4 a raid or w/e since u fly to gadget anywayz make sure u bank all ur gear u ware + gear in ur bags so when u spirit rez u dont have to pay anything =p

I noticed i get transformed into undead when i go into shadowform (priest)
this was 2.2 (didn't do cot for a while ^^ )

just an idea if you want to try this as (shadow)priest, attack, then go shadow, then die

Of course it does, just think it as a buff. Every buff can persist through zoning and logging, only that this buff does not have a duration.

Anyone tried if it disappears when character dies?

I can't get this to work..am I doing anything wrong? Here's what I'm doing:

1. Go into CoT durn in heroic mode (with all my armor off of course)
2. Find a mob and cast starfire at them, then shift into cheetah form
3. Let them kill me

After that I just die as a tauren and i'm also a tauren at the GY. Can anyone help?

Edit: Nvm, just tried in cat form, and it worked! +rep, this exploit is awesome.
Edit: Damnit...I hate this, everything good doesn't work for druids. This is taken off when I go into form. ><

And maybe try a Spell with a cast time.

I think it will not work, as shadowform cancelling shadowform doesn't turn you into human again, when ghost wolf does.

Well, you should think it as Deviate Fish Delight effect, or Noggenfogger Elixir. They too go away when shapeshifting. I wonder if it applies to shadowpriests.
