[Rogue] 2 Extra CP before attacking in PvP

Ive known this for quite awhile and never thought of it as an exploit but I guess it can pass as one.

To start the fight off with a couple extra Combo Points you need to Sap,
Cheapshot and turn away before you do any damage and restealth.

Cheapshot does not remove sap and places 2 combo points on the target. If your quick you can restealth and start the fight off with 2 extra Combo Points.

Kinda seems common sense, but i've played rogue for over a year and i had never thought about this. Very nice addition. Especially since you can restealth by just walking as little as 10-20ish yards away. Only real problem would be auto attack kicking in and breaking the stealth.

I have indeed heard of this before, but it takes skill, timing, and low latency for it to work. Sadly being on a WiFi connection in the ass-end of nowhere i generally have a 500-600 ping. 200 on those lucky days where the weather is perfect and noone in the area is using their connection.

Anyways, would it be possible to somehow make a macro for this?

/cast Cheapshot
/stopattack

Possibly requires 2 quick presses? Im not all that good with macros but something similar may simplify things.

I just saw this while browsing the forums quick before heading to bed, so if anyone else could give this a try in a duel or something im sure it would be much appreciated by many.

i've watched a lot of rogue movies, and a lot of stuff in this forum, played rogue whole my life, and still didn't knew this i am wondering if the macro will really work ^^ definetly gonna try it +rep from me too =)

For you people with latency difficulties etc you should try this macro.

/equip
/cast Cheap shot
/stopattack

It requires you to have a ranged weapon in your backpack that you will equip when you press the macro, this causes a global cooldown on your auto attack so it doesn't start attacking breaking the sap.

Also works for expose armor btw, expose armor without breaking gouge FTW!

/equip
/cast Expose Armor
/stopattack

You will need to vanish or have deacreased cooldown on stealth for it to work.

It will usually not work because the client doesn't register /stopattack before auto attack has done atleast 1 attack, which is why you should use

/equip
/cast Cheap shot
/stopattack

as i wrote in the other post because equiping the ranged weapon will cause global cooldown on auto attack so the client/server have time to react to the /stopattack .
