You can get the new Dalaran Hearthstone before Legion is live

Go to the Northerend Dalaran, talk to the innkeeper, and it will say "ive lost my hearthstone to dalaran can i have another one etc" then bam you got a Dalaran Hearthstone.

When I try to use it it says that I dont have the expansion active.

This could be useful if you can skip the aids senario when legion launches.

Also getting the HS before most people on all characters can save you time.

EDIT: It appears that on BETA the Dalaran Hearthstone has a level req of level 90, but it does indeed work even if you have not done the scenario on that character.

Second Edit: Tried it on my paladin and I can start questing BUT I can't get my artifact. So we can start before everyone but rip artifact.

Thanks mate! Just a little addition: I think this innkeeper is the only one givin away the new hearthstone. A different innkeeper I tried did not have this options to choose.

Tested on beta realms with a fresh lvl 100 char, got the new hearthstone in old dalaran this way, used it, got to new dalaran, but no quest or something else available. So without the introduction it seems you can't do anything in Legion.

You can speak to the flightmaster and start qusting that way and you can also start profession quests but yeah, rip artifact and main storyline.

Uhm just pointing this out! The scenario will be doable before launch and when you've done it once. You don't have to do it on other characters after that as you'll get the option from the quest giver to say "I know the story of the Broken Shore" and it will take you directly to the part where Khadgar summons you
