Bypassing the duration timer on BOEs

I have searched and can't find anything about this. If it is a repost please ignore. I have found with the broom mounts, that you can keep them for as long as you wish, just as long as you don't bind them to you. I got 3 swift flying brooms from the headless horseman on the first day it was available and the 2 unbound still have 14days left.

Its really simple. Just make an alt you will never be on. Send the unbound items with a duration to the alt and put them in your bags. The duration timer doesn't count down unless you are on the character. Thus the brooms last for 14days played time. I am also currently testing if it works leaving them in the mail. So in a few months from now you can grab it from your alt and ride it around and people will be like "WTF MATE!!"

Dont think this works.. I have bound my brooms to myself and they are still on 14 days duration. Just a bug I think and they'll most likely be removed soon.

Theyll be removed 14 days after the event ends.
Why? Becuase then all brooms will dissapear on the same day no matter when you received yours.

I just love the sweet breeze running trough my crack while im flying trough The Barrens

Blizzhaxer is right. You can send unbinded to your alt that you dont play and send back when you want.
