Suramar Storyline [instant kill mobs] Get Loot

Hello there, this is my first time posting something like this, I've searched and I couldn't find anything about this on the community so please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways while I was doing storyline in Suramar (Moonguard Stronghold) on my alt, I have found out that you can instantly kill packs of mobs that drop loot with a quest item, you can pretty much farm gold like that even though I haven't calculated how efficient it is I have realised quest item works even after you finish the quest, so what you need is to take the quest and kill the mobs with it and don't turn it in. You can kill most of the mobs in Moonguard Stronghold, but you can't kill elites.

Quest you need to have is called Lay Waste, Lay Mines

Use the quest item Trap Rune to instantly kill mobs.

NOTE: Quest item will disappear on the quest log tracker on the right, but it won't be gone from your backpack.

Loot you can get from the mobs:
Imperial Arcanist
Imperial Spellbreaker
Nightborne Siegecaster
Nightborne Infiltrator

Like I said I'm not sure how efficient is this since I haven't been doing it much myself.

It might be worth it if you could figure out how to pull everything or large groups, without the big centaurish guys. Cause they don't get caught/stunned in the traps, only the regular humanoid mobs

But if you can kill them yourself quickly, it might be cool to pull the entire floor, kill big guys, loot. Then move up tot he next level terrace and repeat... dunno.

That's what I was doing first I pulled whole library on the left from the quest giver and all mobs around it and killed em all, good thing is that all the mobs in the stronghold are respawning fast, so you can pretty much farm the spot with a quest item. I got a full bags of items in just a few minutes, plus my character isn't geared like I said it is an alt, plus assassination rogue has no good AoE especially if you are not geared.

You can farm legendary items.

as i know legendary items cant be drop by regular mobs, only bosses

This is correct. Also only Broken Isles bosses can drop legendaries, so Timewalking bosses will not drop them.

Ah, I was using this a few weeks ago to farm Leyblood. There are manasaber mobs in packs of 2 that drop 2-3 leyblood, and they respawn very quickly.
