Take a dungeon boss out of the deadmines, potentially gamebreaking applications

    Instructions:

    1) Go to Deadmines mast room, attach Helix gearbreaker to your head.
    2) Port somewhere.

Wackiness follows. Heelix will follow you through the port and can't be killed.

There are multiple versions of Heelix all over the realms at the moment, people are having a lot of fun with this.
The 85 version throws bombs around and does the stuff he does in the instance.

There is a potentially gamebreaking application here: if you port into a raid with Heelix then any player
that can use leech on him can potentially become invulnerable. Damage on low level mobs scales up into huge numbers
and leech converts this into healing. (proof: test dps on low level target dummies in sw with a warrior using second wind
or a rogue using leech poison, the healing is insane).

Has this been tested with the snobolds from the first encounter in the ToC raid? They essentially do the same thing (jump on your back and throw things, but in their case, it's fire). It'll probably be a much quicker way to get this glitch activated as it's literally a case of walk in and talk to the guy to start the encounter, and there's up to 4 kobolds also rather than just the one mob.
I would test but have no means to play WoW right now.

Have you tested with spreading ignite damage from it over to bosses in raids? if that works that means you can do insane damage as any class with a cleave that bases damage off first target hit.

The snobolds are level 82 though, I'm not sure about whether the scaling would be quite as effective. From what I recall from messing with
target dummies the difference in healing between 85 and 60 was huge. Very good idea though, I love it when people take an idea like this
and run with it. You guys just proved this is an across the board glitch with mulltiple applications rather than one just fixable glitch, wd.

You can have multiple npc's in one location (there were ten helix's in the mage tower), so with a small team of dedicated players you should
be able to get as many as you need for invulnerability, the shaman flameshock glitchers proved that.

Perhaps, but the Helix glitch is temperamental and doesn't work every time so maybe you just lucked out with tot, Worth a few tries I think.

Here's another idea: You can use Soul Capacitor - Item - World of Warcraft to build the damage up and then get a huge burst on the pull (or use it on him to get more damage from cleaves if the boss is near him) or even touch of death if you have it on a monk.

Haven't test if this works myself but if it does it can have huge potential uses.

Just tested this and the main disadvantage is that the snobolds die, unlike Heelix.

Though, I had a lot of fun going up to the Argent tournament, getting a giant snow rat stuck to my head and then taking it into a bg. +rep for that.
Must be so boring to play wow on the level and never do shit like this.

I'm sure something cool can be done with the snobolds, particulary when Heelix gets fixed.

This was shown on a reddit thread of somebody bringing them to the mage portal in Stormwind. Pretty neat , looks fun.

Do you actually know how annoying it is to have Helix in a BG, such as Ashran now and being able to hear his emotes through out the ENTIRE map?
