Harrison Jones for an alt w/o the quests

Managed to get it on 4 toons total (3 alts, one main) on one Bnet account, only tried for 3 alts, but 4 might be possible without an authenticator. I disabled all addons, changed to minimum settings, set as windowed at the minimum resolution. I also have an SSD so that probably helps tremendously.
I opened 4 different clients and entered my password ready on 3 of those and used the fourth to log onto the character I wanted harrison on the least, since he's the least likely to get it. When I was ready, I logged onto the second client, entered my authenticator pin, then onto the next alt and repeated until I got to my main where I handed in the quest.
My guild mate was fairly confused when he saw three people all getting harrison at the same time.

Does this still work? I'm trying to log on a second character while still having one online using the wow.exe file but it isn't showing my 1st character online. Is there a trick to what zone I am supposed to be in on the alt chars or am I using the wrong WoW file? I understand how the Follower achievement trick is supposed to work. I just can't get more than 1 char to show as online at a time.

By the way people remember that if you log your alts out in a TOWN this will probably have a HIGHER chance of FAILING.

If you want this to work for sure then have your ALTS that you are DISCONNECTING in a zone near mobs... so they get the bare min 20 sec logout timer AT THE VERY LEAST.

Step 1 :

MAIN Character that has all the quests done beside harrison jones in the Garrison.

Char 2 - ANYWHERE THAT WOULD GIVE YOU 20 sec logout timer if you were to log out. (near monsters)
Char 3 - ANYWHERE THAT WOULD GIVE YOU 20 sec logout timer if you were to log out. (near monsters)

Step 2

Log out of main (client 1)
Log into ALT 1 ,

Disconnect yourself using a 2nd client (client 2)
Log into ALT 2

Disconnect yourself using client 3 ( client 3)
Log into MAIN hand in quest.


In order to speed this up (on all 3 clients have your password and username entered in.

Actually it works TWICE for each battle.net. Once for your first Horde character and once for your first Alliance and from what my roomate and i found this is when it will work.

Basically on a bnet account it will work once per faction but only with toons from the same faction.

Can anyone confirm you atleast have to have a garrison for this to work or does it not matter and once you get to your garrison you have him ?


This would also work technically with the legendary ring as well right ?
Collect 125 ab stones colect 900 .....

You'd have to have lots of different accounts for that many toons I guess, since you have to be able to log them all on before the first one is logged out.

No idea if you have to have garrison unlocked for this, but I'd guess that you do.

I believe someone in the thread already mentioned the legendary follower - It's rewarded from a quest, not the achievement right? If that's the case then it won't work.

Didnt work on any toons used 3 different computers 6 different alts.

Obtained on 4 of my chars today(one legit, 3 DCed.) Decided to be even more safe, ive log in on char, pulled some random mob near me - alt tab - login to other. All working. Also was online on my 2nd account with 85 level rogue, achieve procced there too, dunno whats up with follower, since his only 85.

Done on three chars same faction! Attempted 6 total, but the remaining 3 were other faction, and didn't worked.

just tried this on a new raf account (first time i completed the achievement on this account)
i was online with a couple of level 90 chars (all WITHOUT a garrison) and none of them got the follower (i saw the achievement in guild chat popping up like on cecu's screenshot for every char i was online with, but they only got master relic hunter + don't call me junior, not "an epic buddy")
after that i built a garrison on one of them to verify -> still no harrison.

tldr: no garrison, no harrison.
