I ran in stealth near a group of hordes who killed our lock in swamp. got conquest points and honor.

I can try. I ran by as shaman with stealth tablet and gained reward as they killed our lock. I didnt wait and stalk, I just ran by and at the same time they killed the worgen-lock, got the blue-win-effect and in chat the response of honor/conq-reward.

I think you got confused. The warlocks do not give honor or conquest when killed.

I'm going to guess you were just close enough to an event to get credit for that.

Erm yes they do? i was farming not more than 30 mins ago
