Avoid AFK logout

[Mothership]

Tiny and easy trick to fool the afk logout.

1. Use windowed mode
2. Push enter world and minimize game asap

Do not bring the game window top at all untill you are ready to continue.



There is other ways to anti afk but this one works any location and without monster hitting you/bot.

Hovered over "Minimize"-button
Pressed enter, chat box appeared, instantly minimized window
Returned 2 hours later
"You have been disconnected from the server"

No dice for this time. Could have been a failure to reproduce, or could have been a server crash. Will try again. Hopefully it will work, I will be happy, and you will deserve some +reps!

Used it for almost 2 years now, i think it was first shared by RedRussian, but honestly cant remember.

Ok dont know if i did it wrong but i logged in to the character screen and changed to windowed mode, hit "Enter World" under my toons name and minimized screen asap to the task bar. after about 10 min i opened the window and it said i was disconnected from server. tried it a few times on different realms and even logged in first to make sure the server was up and working, any incite?

It presses "Cancel" on the 20 second timer automatically when the game tries to log you out.

So, don't stand anywhere you would be getting rested experience? I'll stick to my keyspam on a buff every 5 minutes.

Copied this to new macro, putted it on "5" on actionbar number 2 where i got all other macros, pressed it, nothing happends, went away from computer some minutes and were afk when i came back after a few minutes, not logouted tho but still afk..

Am i doing anything wrong?

The macro doesn't stop you from going AFK. It just stops your AFK character from logging out by clicking the "cancel" option in the dialog box.

anyone tried this? +rep if it works. my server has 8k queues 8+ hour wait times what a joke. will be using this.
