Aeonaxx ? Peerblock ? FIXED ?? NO!

i got aeonaxx this morning after camping him for a few days.

There's a ton of guides on how to block ip, deepholm's ip, so i won't be covering that.

how i did it:
i had to transfer a character to a different realm due to my old one being the host.
# prep - fly to the other rares (around deepholm) to see if they are up. (most likely they aren't)
#1 - fly to the flying ship.
#2 - land and dismount (dismount to make sure i'm on the ship)
#3 - log out (the normal way through game menu, takes 20 secs)
note: On your login screen (should have you character name, but no location to where your character is aka "void zone")
#4 - log in
#5 - once logged in and standing on the ship enable peerblocker. (i never did 90%)(do not enable peerblocker @ login screen)
#6 - fly off the ship and you should get transfer aborted: Instance not found pretty much immediately.
#7 - fly around aeonaxx might not be up.
#8 - to check to see if it worked (using prep, fly to the other rare spawns and they should be up, let you know you are in the proper realm with aeonaxx (hes just not up/someone is doing the same thing and killed it before you)

P.s - if you aren't getting transfer aborted message you have either blocked the wrong ip or your current realm is the host realm.

Ive tried it all. and im a pro at this CRZ stuff...


Litterally, tried everything. I know my Peerblock works, because i use Mage:teleport to SW / Vale and it Blocks it.

Land on ship.. log out... log in, even enabling at 90%.. Doesnt work no Aborted message period.

Loggeed in completly.. waited till i was fully logged in, and enabled it, still didnt work.

Enabling from Char selection, doesnt work but.. never has never will for me.

what am i missing =D ( works just fine for TLPD.. or mage speed exploit farming.. or anything else i neeed it for..

Hi, this may be your exact problem.

May I suggest you to clean up all your rules in peerblock (start with a brand new file).
You really only need to block that ONE IP from Deepholm.

You helped me understand how CRZ works with your posts.
And I got TLPD thanks to you. I hope I can repay the favor.

I actually have about 12 Custom files, and 1 Blizzard specific, which i made availble to the public but not a lot use it =x

anywy, Ive tried just using 3 ips, blocking the 2 established + a 1-255 RANGE.

Fly to ship, Logout. Log back in, Enable at 50/90%, ( no transfer aborted, as i leavee the air ship) or loging in Fully, to where i can move, and enabling Peerblock, and flying off the ship. still not working.

Not to sure ewhat the deal is. Wonder if its my server.

It's called your realm being the host and you're out of luck <.< Try a different realm.

So, ive tried and tried for about a week or so, is it normal that the only rares that are getting spawned are golgarok and terberous ? no aeo or world boss dragon at all

I'm trying to get this working the whole day, but with no success.
Here is the thing, I have blocked the ips with the netstat command and I can see them getting blocked in the log.
If I block it at about 90% or earlier I get the character not found error.
And if I do it on the gunship in game I don't get the instance not found error.
What am I doing wrong?
I have tried different methods and nothing seems to work.
