Aeonaxx ? Peerblock ? FIXED ?? NO!

Curiosity killed the Cat.. your Guide said to Enable Peerblock, and then log in...

Doing so will almost 100% of the time, DC you, putting you back to your Character Selection screen..

Are you saying, Log in, and Enable it at 90% like before? or what..

Some realms require you to enable Peerblock at 90% like it used too, other realm (like 2 of mines) require you only to DC on the boat and then Enabling peerblock whenever you want before log in.

Killed 29/09/14, Now I have this bad boy next to my Time-Lost, confirmed still working on non Deepholm hosting realms. If he is not up just come back and check everyday he will be there it just takes time.

I got Aeonaxx this morning after camping him for a few days.

There's a ton of Guides on how to block IP, Deepholm's IP, so i won't be covering that.

How i did it:
I had to transfer a character to a different realm due to my old one being the host.
# Prep - Fly to the other Rares (around Deepholm) to see if they are up. (most likely they aren't)
#1 - Fly to the flying ship.
#2 - Land and dismount (dismount to make sure I'm on the ship)
#3 - Log out (the normal way through game menu, takes 20 secs)
Note: On your login screen (should have you character name, but no location to where your character is aka "Void Zone")
#4 - Log in
#5 - Once logged in and standing on the ship ENABLE peerblocker. (i never did 90%)(do not ENABLE peerblocker @ login screen)
#6 - Fly off the ship and you should get TRANSFER ABORTED: instance not found pretty much immediately.
#7 - Fly around Aeonaxx might not be up.
#8 - To check to see if it worked (using Prep, fly to the other Rare spawns and they SHOULD be up, let you know you are in the proper realm with Aeonaxx (hes just not up/someone is doing the same thing and killed it before you)

P.S - If you aren't getting TRANSFER ABORTED message you have either blocked the wrong IP or your current realm is the host realm.

So Ive done this everyday around noon EST. I do INDEED get the: "TRANSFER ABORTED: instance not found" or w/e. It says it constantly. But whenever I fly around, I havent seen ANY of the rares.

Last night I tried searching for Aeonaxx in Deepholm using the airship method. Worked like a charm, found Aeonaxx within a few seconds of leaving the ship at his southern-most spawn area. Flew up beside him, got the green arrow to mount, but when I mounted him to start the encounter, he despawned a second or two later and I slowly parachute fell to the ground. He never respawned, I never even got to start the combat with him.

Not sure what happened there, but I'm hoping to see him again tonight, it has not yet been 24 hours and I keep checking for him. I have, however, gotten some other rares; Jadefang and Tereborus. When I then disable my peerblock I phase back over to crz and (in a few cases) have been able to rekill them again.

If someone has killed it using the same method as you you'll have to wait anywhere between 6-22 hours.

There are many way the method can work, this one I haven't seen before (enabling after login on the ship).

This would mean you don't have to logout at all ??

I will test this, take here some rep for finding this yourself

Ive downloaded the program, I went into deepholm and did the netstats and it gave me two of the same ip (5.42.165.XXX:3742) (but not same TCP), I edit the list with the range 5.42.165.1-255 and add it, it gets cached and everythings good.
I have peerblock disabled, I fly up to the ship, I log out, I log in and enable it, I fly out and it doesnt work.

However, when a friend from frostwhisper invites me (lev 90) I get zoned into his zone, and I get "Transfer aborted: instance not found"
Even tho I get this, there are 3-4 people in the same instance.

I guess your character has to be on a different realm, and getting an invite to another wont help. Can anyone confirm?

Regardless, this exploit is so f*cking insanely mindblowing and big kudos to the finder.

anything regarding being invited from another realm is a no go. doesn't work. no way of it will work. If your realm is the host you're simply out of luck
