I would still like to see proof on this working. All it takes is a simple video of the attack power stat in character screen updating to vengeance cap values off a moderate hit. The reason I call for a video is because it would be too hard to screencap it for people with slower computers because as soon as you take damage again, that vengeance AP will just drop to "normal" values.

We haven't been able to recreate it. On mal'ganis with 3 of us over 580+ itemlevel with two monks and a warrior. Tried it on a couple normal garroshes with 4 healers (only did it about 5 times since it takes forever for cds to come up) and one attempts worth on heroic nazgrim.

Not entirely sure what you mean, but it'll obviously not allow you to bypass the vengeance cap, but simply allow you to reach it where it shouldn't be possible.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I will upload a video ASAP. However i'm going on vacation for about a week in a few hours, but after that i'll get a video uploaded.

My understanding was vengeance was calculated based upon damage you would've taken and that cooldowns etc. didn't matter, though I could very well be wrong.

When I do heroic Malkorok, I do get a lot of vengeance:

Considering CM uses the old vengeance model and vengeance decays extremely quickly in challenge modes, it wouldn't really help much since you don't have another tank to prevent you from getting hit.

Basically, it is piss easy to get vengeance capped in any heroic raid as long as you plan it out with healers. If this exploit does work, it'd only be useful in normal.

You clearly never tanked alot of the heroic fights..

14/14H with both my brewmaster and a prot warrior.

http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...ml#post3016707 (BM Monk Vengeance Cap Exploit - Garrosh Heroic)

Looks like you posted the same thing a while ago and still had the same hostile attitude to anybody who questioned what you wrote down.

You have had three months to provide proof. Why don't you spend the time telling anybody who thinks you are full of it to get out of your threads and just shut us all up with a video? You posted the same concept four times in a row without even a picture and it seems to me that you are trying to rep farm with something that requires an almost inhuman feat of reflexes (have to pop cds 0.1~ seconds when annihilate hits?

This is a very popular site. Anything here usually is usually put to practice immediately by swarms of raiders (stampede exploit anybody?) While it was extremely easy to find stampede exploits in logs, I looked through the top 30 brewmaster and protection paladin parses for 25H and not one log had a sudden spike of attack power increase due to vengeance that couldn't be explained by soaking the damage normally.

Vengeance caps at a players max health. Because the game calculates vengeance as a ridiculous value, you will end up having 1 million+ attack power.

It's not hard to time at all for any abilities unless you're super slow to react once you get used to it. I explained how this exploit works on the paladin mmo-c forums 3-4 months ago and I know for a fact 2 paladins in the top 5 for 25H use this for some of their parses. I know quite a few other paladin tanks (as well as myself) that use this in the 10man heroic top parsing bracket as I've talked to them. This bug works for any ability ingame as long as you have a big reduction CD. Zen med/Shield wall/Diffuse/Paladin active mitigation...etc. (Zen med/diffuse being the best as they're 90% so the most noticeable)

There's really no reason not to do this in heroic. Especially if you raid 10man as the bosses give almost no vengeance at all and tank damage is so much more of the raids dps. On a fight like garrosh in 10 or 25man a paladin can line up their first AM for a melee hit and gain roughly 300k-400k more vengeance than they would have been able to get in p1. Challenge modes are also amazing for this as if you can vengeance cap on the first holy fire for example in scarlet halls, you'll instantly hit 400k vengeance and remain there killing everything quick. You won't need it for something like a normal gold run but if you're trying to compete with the top groups you definitely want to be using this as they do.

Should be able to answer any questions anyone may have about this though if anything was unclear, but I mean just test it on something like the mobs on the timeless isle that do the frontal cone with a monk. See how much vengeance you get without doing it then try to time it properly and if you do it right you will notice a huge difference.

Intresting, as personally I play a brewmaster among the top 10 on ProRaiders, and I use this pretty much all the time
