Get Bloody Coins without killing other players (only works for blood death knight)

Hi,

A death knight in blood spec can obtain bloody coins without killing. It is easy, you only need the toy Fire-Watcher's Oath.

Then how to get coins?
Be in blood spec, use the Fire-Watcher's Oath, and keep hitting anything can be hit in the following 10 minutes, and wait. Yes, anything, it can be a training dummy. You can just right click a dummy and leave.

Is this tested?
Tested in US server and Asian server.

Any logic behind it?
As far as I can see, you are likely to receive a blood coin when your blood parasites burst. I think some bugs cause the system to believe "you make a a PVP kill" when your blood parasites die.

Is this method efficient?
Well, your gains of bloody coins is randomized. That means if you are lucky you can get more than 9 coins in 10 minutes. However, you may received only 1 or 2 if fortunes does not smile on you.
Fire-Watcher's Oath has a 60 minutes CD while the last time is only 10 minutes. It may not be as efficient as killing alts in timeless isle, but thus method really gives your coins even you are in poor gear and not being a rogue.

Is there anything to make it quicker?
The more haste you have, the more coins you get. You can use unholy presence and use dual wield two fast weapons and choose a low level dummy. It seems that heart strike can get more parasites spawn so potentially increase the coins, but you can just right click the dummy and do anything else to avoid spend tedious ten minutes with a stupid dummy.

Why do you need a video? Seems pretty clear to me: Be a Blood DK, use item, attack dummy. Done.

I did test this method, it does work. I received 3 coins over the 10 minute buff. Is this optimal? Hell no. Good find nonetheless.

actualy i get 4 coins over 10 minutes (with 1 hour cd)... its faster to just kill AFKers near flightmaster at timeless isle

This could be a nice supplement to farming coins if you had an alt, just set them up punching a dummy to make a few coins while you're AFK.

With the amount of time I spend in Shrine it'd be beneficial to get something out of it haha.

nope it never worked that way with Fire-Watchers oath... it works with Censer of Eternal Agony

So here is my question. Can you use Anatomical Dummy and get them with the censer of eternal agony and Fire-watchers oath at the same time. Like getting 2 coins instead of one? May be worth it doing it this method, just have to be on the isle.

Confirmed. I will test the method with a censor on trash and see what it does. Will check back later.

Edit: After 15 minutes of testing bloodworms with the censor of agony I received no bloody coins.

I immediately looked up the 100000% haste bug post to see if it was fixed. Unfortunately it was, but if it hadn't been, you could set up a training dummy in Kun-Lai and just auto attack it for tiny armies of bloodworms. If anyone finds a bug similar to that one, it'd be awesome to try it together with this bug.

By dual-wielding two low iLevel weapons(so he wont die) and going ham on Alysrazor for 10min you could probably make it worthwhile.
Will try it out and report back!

Update: Didn't really work, bloodworms either wouldn't spawn midair or they spawned and got killed on the ground.
