Getting SoO achievments in Raid finder <needs testing>

So I was at raid finder in SoO Vale of eternal sorrows, and we were on Sha of Pride.
So what happend was, we were killing the boss, I was a resto druid and I died at 50 mil HP i got a CR, I was alt tabbed so I didnt accept it. After that for some reason I think because I didnt accept the CR I got kicked after 4 sec while the boss fight was in progress. So I got ported to the Graveyard next to the entrance of SoO kicked. I ressed at the entrance stood in front. They killed the boss and I got the achievment: Swallow your pride. That achievment is not obtainable in raid finder so I was kinda suprised how I got it.

I also had a invite to the other part of the SoO as i queued for multiple SoO raids and I accepted it I think right after I ressurected at the entrance.


So what I was thinking is, I know its hard to use this exploit since it is Raid finder.

Now there are some ways this can be used. If you know you can get a achievment at some boss and you joined with someone who can CR, you die, let him CR you and dont accept that just stay afk get ported and kicked and get an achievment.

Still have to test it just thought I'd share and get some help with testing aswell

I hope you can prove this or someone else can because it is a good post and well done but in that form its a theory which usually means useless until proven which is a shame as the fact you get it because you arent technically in lfr would sorta make sense but i guess we will see.

Seems legit, and that a bug somewhere exists that you can get SoO achs from LFR. Not sure how to replicate it, and I don't think you know either. For example I doubt that a CR had anything to do with it. When you got kicked, did you fly into SoO normal? Please try to explain in a bit more detail the environment you were in and what exactly you did when this happened to you.

I doubt that CR had anything to do with it but I think being kicked had to do with it. The reason I got kicked whilist in the fight is I thought because I didnt accept CR. But what happend was I was queued before going for that first part of SoO i queued for multiple SoO raids. The moment I got kicked from the fight I got invited to Gates of Retribution. But they had a fight in progress (first boss) so when I runned into the instance as a ghost I got ressurected but I was still in front of the instance as I could not enter, Few moments later when they finished the boss I got the achievment.

So shortly: I get kicked at 50 mil hp whilist dead, I get invited to the 2nd part of SoO i accept it run into the instance as a ghost I cant enter fight in progress I stay outside waiting for the fight to end so I can enter, I get the that achievment.

It's working like it always been working. Same in ToT (did lei shen HC, a friend left after wipe but got achiev once we downed him on our 2nd pull)

I think it has something to do that you participated in the fight from the very start, so you cen an specific ID, if the group you were with kills the boss even though you left, you will get acheiv.

Yes but getting an achievment that is for normal/Heroic/Flexible difficulty in raid finder is a different story

you indeed get the achievments from normal or heroic when you leave the lfr group before the boss dies

i got ahead of the curve from soo lfr^^ usefull aint it

Hmmmm So why didn't the OP get the Ahead of the Curve achieve then? Only the meta achieve.

Just to point it out, you cant be kicked from LFR mid-fight, even if you dont accept a CR it would still not kick you. Not sure what happened, but the CR definitely didnt have anything to do with it.

I dont know what kicked me, I was dead got the CR i wanted to accept it, it dissapierd and I was removed from the group. I thought ok I will be here till the fight is over but got instead teleported to the graveyard in 5 sec and the boss was still in progress. And I healed all the time before I got killed, then I went alt tabbing,

This is the first time it happend to me so I got only the achi for that boss. Funny seing I got that achi for Sha of pride when I got no kills on sha except in Raid finder.

I will be trying to get the achievment Conquerer of Orgrimmar with this trick to see if it gives you achievment as if you did Normal or flexible. Since it clearly doesnt give achievment as heroic as I did not get Heroic Sha of pride achievment.
Will post my findings once I get to try it i nlike 1 hour
